So there was this challenge.....

I have some friends and Pam posted some cards she created. Then Sharon challenged me (as well as herself) to see if we could CASE Pam's cards. Here are mine. Card 1 - The swirl is a Grudgeboard cutout. Painted. The flowers are paper. Card 2- I didn't have any gingham ribbon so I made my strip of paper and bow from paper. Card 3 - That was my hardest card to recreate. Card 4 - The flower is paper and is from a die set. Card 5 - That flower is fabric. Card 6 - Layered scrapbook papers. I'll edit and add Pam's original cards if I can find them and get her permission.

Mickey & Minnie Thank You

A thank you card from my daughter and me.... Her Mimi took her for an overnight stay at Disney's animal Kingdom Lodge and then a day at the Magic Kingdom to celebrate my daughter's 7th birthday. From the pictures, their "apartment" was amazing and there's never a bad day at the Mickey's house!

Thanks to my cat sitter

This card was so much fun to create. I stamped the cat and colored with pencils and Gamsol. I then took a dry embossing tool and on the back, made little circles all over to puff it out. The picture frame was carefully cut and added a sheet of accetate to make it look like a real glass window. The trees in the background were stamped anc colored before assembling the rest of the card. He totally got a kick out of this card

Thank you 3-D flowers

Sent this 3-D flower beauty out to a dear friend for my thank you gift. I love curling up the flower petals to make them three dimensional.

3 apples in a basket

This 3 dimentional and textured card is going to Mrs. Mercier. This is a lady who with her husband, built a goldmine fabulous store that is like a Cracker Barrel but so much bigger and with a ton of acres of fruit, fruit and more fruit! You can see their website HERE
I brushed on some Crystal Lacquer to the apples. Love the look it gives.
On our last visit, we chatted with her for over 30 minutes. She gave us (without even asking!) a few treats. I was in awe of her. Here is my daughter and Mrs. Mercier:

My 6yo made this with AI's

My daughter loves Alcohol Inks... The one, she used the pad and slid it accross the glossy paper (3rd generation). She did two other glossy card fronts where she pounced the AIs on it. She used a pigment ink that wouldn't dry on glossy so we covered with clear Embossing Powder. She loves the texture. This is a Thank You from her...
