Slacker no... blog neglect yes

I've been busy getting sick (two weeks before Thanksgiving), creating, getting published and a few things I can't post yet. But I have a ton of photos that I will share asap.

Our Thanksgiving was spent in Alabama with my inlaws and extended family and now we slide into the rush of Christmas and all it brings. Got the tree and decorations down from the attic. The tree is up and lit, decorations to follow tomorrow with the help of the princess. :)

I've been making some tags lately -- very much out of my norm! Having fun challenging myself to use what I have and not buy anything else right now. After the holidays, if I have a gift card or two, I will be blowing it all!!

So with that, I hope to post some photos in the next few days of at least a few things I've been working on.

With a Spellbinder die, sticker paper, and glitter, turn any card into a picture frame:


A silk sunflower begging to be coated with glue and glitter. Love this in person!

2 pretty quick birthday cards

Had to make a birthday card and this is what I came up with... Made another one right after since it was a pretty quick card. I love the Stickles on the dragonfly and 3-D wings like she's flying off of the card.

Cherry, Cherry...

Love the song by Neil Diamond but today, it's cherries on cards...

Made this set of 12 for my mom to give to her friend, whom she will be visiting. The friend has her entire kitchen done in cherries and loves 'em. So, thought this would be a fun gift for mom to give her.

My mom will have the option if she wants any sayings or greetings on the front.

Shuttle at Kennedy Space Center

My mom and a friend went over to see the shuttle (didn't go due to the weather) but they sure had a great time. As a thank you, made this for mom to send.

Breast Cancer awareness card

Time flies by when you're busy creating! I have been busy and I have been creating!! The mojo is flowing freely... I hope to post more asap.

Put together a card and when I get the ok, I'll make 19 more for a friend who is in the walk this year.



UPDATE: Got the other 19 done for a total of 20 for this set to my friend. Was an honor to make them for her.
